Refund policy

Digital toolkits and guides. 30-day money-back guarantee. If a toolkit or guide isn't the right fit, contact me within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund.

Design sessions. Life with kids happens, so rescheduling is always free, any time up to the start of your session. You can cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours before your session; inside 48 hours, you can reschedule instead. If you miss a session without notice, you get one courtesy reschedule; after that, the session is forfeited. Design sessions aren't covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee.

Merch and printed books (anything shipped). You have 30 days after delivery to request a return. Items must be unused, in the condition you received them, in original packaging, with proof of purchase. Printed books must be in brand-new condition and not written in. Return shipping is paid by the customer. Returns go to: A Design Lifestyle, L.L.C., 1569 Solano Avenue, 103, Berkeley, CA 94707. Please request a return before sending anything; items sent back without a request can't be accepted.

Damages and issues. Please inspect your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective or wrong, contact me right away and I'll make it right.

Exchanges. Return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, place a new order for the one you want.

Refunds. Once your return is received and inspected, I'll let you know whether it's approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days; your bank may take a little longer to post it.
